  jehovah's witnesses have long condemned any celebration of the christmas holiday supposedly commemorating jesus' birth, as being a pagan celebration of christendom.

  they have even disfellowshipped many from the organization for celebrating it, in any form or fashion.

  every jehovah's witness world wide knows this.

  That the governing body and the organization would,,, actually releases something that gives praise to.......Jesus????

  also, we have re- peatedly seen good results when brothers and sisters are prepared with go bags and are ready to obey direction when they face various kinds of disasters.

  please be sure you have a go bag, and review its contents at least once a year.

  The 'insert' to the Revelation Climax book wasnt around for very long!!

  Remember,,,,the Revelation Climax book was the "premiere publication" for the congregation book study.

  When it was found the WBTS was an affiliation with the UN NGO for 9 years until 2001.

  The "insert" to the Revelation Climax book was a haphazard band- aid because of this

  The Revelation Climax book was quickly and unceremoniously dumped & is no longer in print.

  So yeah,, I never picked up this ''insert".

  Whoever has this "insert",,,would be greatly appreciated to share with us.

  Impactful book.

  Its just so poignant. Its just beyond ironic. The Borg hammered its contents into the $heeples heads for so long.

  Then an ""insert"". Then dumped cold turkey. Weird.

  No longer even in print.

  Ahhhhh yes.

  The Revelation Climax book.

  The book that ''scared" me into getting baptized when I was young,,impression..and terriblly naive

  The very book that led to my awakening in 2007.

  Ironic!!.

  That ""book"" was the go to book for many,,many years & led to my awakening in 2006\07 or so.

  That book was studied by the congregations so incessantly.

  Along came thay ''insert" around 2007,,,something like that. After the Borg was discovered to be a UN NGO affiliate for 9 years

  Then the Revelation Climax book was unceremoniously dumped after about 1 use with the insert.

  Its not rocket science as why that book was scrapped and no longer to be found.

  I have my original 1988 Revelation Climax book in pristine condition.

  The one that we went through,,,I forget how many times..

  The original copy without the "insert",,,, the original copy before the Borg got "busted" as a UN NGO affiliate.

  You should have seen the looks I got one time during the the CO visit around 2007 or so. We were doing the Revelation Climax book,,,& I did NOT have the ""updated insert"". I only had the "original"

  You'll have to pry my original 1988 Revelation Climax book from my cold dead hands.

  "Everyone Wants To Leave"

  a thread about steve hassan re-emerged and got me looking him up.

  his wikipedia entry had a point under "criticism" that there is an underlying assumption in his approach that all members of high control groups ultimately want to leave*.. while it is generally believed that there are a lot of pimos still attending, doing field service and giving lip service to the wt, i doubt that everyone within the congregations want to get out.

  it's not always internally and logically consistent, but it's been around long enough for enough workarounds to make it tolerable to emerge.. what do you think?

  Everyone is different.

  Some never ''wake up"".

  You have to have your own ""come to"" or ''ahaaa thats it"".

  We have to accept the fact that some don't and/or we can't do it for them.

  Its the way it is.
